The real estate, land development and entitlement practices of Stahl, Bernal & Davies are broad in scope. Our Real Estate Law group is recognized for its representation of clients involved in complex purchase and sale transactions, financings, wind energy projects, leasing and subleasing matters. The commercial real estate area of our work includes representation of clients in acquisitions, sales, leasing, development, and financing of all types of commercial, industrial, residential, retail, renewable energy, condominium regime, and multifamily properties. We also assist clients with loan restructures, loan workouts, and discounted note purchase agreements.
Our real estate lawyers are experienced in guiding buyers and sellers through the purchase and sale of troubled real estate assets in the Bankruptcy process; in providing advice in the Bankruptcy arena, we remain cognizant of the advantages and drawbacks of the Bankruptcy Court assisted asset sale process, including Section 363 sales, auction sales, sealed bid sales and stalking-horse bidders. In connection with all of our commercial real estate work, we advise purchasers in selecting and forming appropriate real estate holding structures, taking into consideration liability protection, management flexibility, and administrative convenience.
The development and entitlement area of our work includes representing our clients before the city, county, and other governmental entities to obtain necessary consents, zoning, plats, permits, and approvals for successful real estate development.
