Brent Stahl
Brent Stahl is a partner at the law firm of Stahl, Bernal & Davies where he works on Wind & Renewable Energy Law, Commercial Real Estate Law, and Corporate Law matters. Brent’s work as a wind attorney includes providing assistance to wind energy developers on commercial wind projects. His work as a wind lawyer involves wind leases, wind energy development, and easement, title, and survey matters. He has represented wind energy developers on projects in Texas, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Colorado and New Mexico. The wind law matters typically involve projects with 50+ wind leases and wind easements. In the last decade, Brent has represented wind energy developers in projects involving more than 3,000 MW of generating capacity. Brent also assists energy companies with geothermal leases and real estate law aspects of gas-fired electric generating plants. He is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As a real estate attorney, Brent represents clients with purchase, sale, financing, and leasing aspects of commercial real estate transactions. And he works with clients to form partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations in connection with the real estate transactions work.
Brent received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the American Journal of Criminal Law and graduated with Honors. He received a degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he also graduated with Honors. Brent also studied abroad for a semester in Madrid, Spain at the University of St. Louis.
